BUFFALO — Hattie P. Parmer, 71, Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2012, at Buffalo General, under the care of Hospice, after a short illness.

She was born in Pigeon Creek, AL to the late Wilbert Parmer, Sr. and Ollie Mae (Crittenden) Parmer. As a child, she was baptized in St. Luke AME Zion Church. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Crenshaw Country Training School. She relocated to Niagara Falls in 1959, and joined St. John AME Church where she served faithfully on the Sr. Usher Board and the Althea Davis Missionary Society.

She was employed by St. Mary's Hospital for over 10 years; Rochester Telephone Co.; Service America, where she managed food service facilities located in various local plants. Most recently, she was a home healthcare provider. She was an avid bingo player. She loved antiques and attending yard sales. She had a passion for shopping and loved spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Hattie leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Freida Lynn (Herwin) Parker; two grandsons, Kenneth Agee II, Kevin LeFrank Agee; three great-grandchildren, Alyssa Lynn  McCray-Agee, Christopher Benjamin Agee, Kevin LeFrank Agee, Jr.; also survived by mother, Ollie Mae Parmer, Niagara Falls; four sisters, Dorothy (Houston) Everett, Annie (Johnnie) Mathews, Pigeon Creek, AL; Virginia McTyere, Niagara Falls; Mary (Norman) Ayers, Conyers, GA.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 10, at 11 AM. Funeral services will begin at Noon at St. John AME Church, 917 Garden Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Arrangements by WILLIAMSON FUNERAL HOME., 635 Main St., Niagara Falls, NY.
