Carolyn Lynn Gayton

NIAGARA FALLS — Carolyn Lynn Gayton, of Niagara Falls, NY, departed this life on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at home with her family who loved her very much and was always by her side.

She was born in Buffalo, NY on February 5, 1951, a daughter of the late Gerald and Marie (Reed) Gayton.

Carolyn Lynn spent her time going to school at the complete senior care. When she wasn't in school she enjoyed cooking and cleaning. Carolyn Lynn loved going to church and had a strong faith in the Lord. Her favorite song going around the house was "Jesus on the Main Line." Carolyn Lynn was very good at spanking her nieces and nephews, trying to keep them in order.

She leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Deborah (Gayton) Tannehill of Niagara Falls, NY; three brothers, Hassan Rashid of Boston, MA, Gerald Gayton of Syracuse, NY, and David Gayton of Orlando, FL; a special aunt, Helen McBride of Buffalo, NY. Also a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Carolyn Lynn was the sister of the late Angela (Gayton) Samuel, Barry and Earl Gayton.

The family will be present on Wednesday from 11-12 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Avenue, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where a  Home Going Service will be held at 12:00 PM.
