Rapids hosting paranormal and horror convention

Niagara Gazette — The ParaHorror Convention’s “Carnival of ParaHorror” which planners call the most unique event ever seen in Western New York, will be held May 4 at the Rapids Theatre, 1711 Main St, Niagara Falls

This year’s Convention features celebrities from the the TV series, “The Walking Dead.”  Scheduled to appear at the convention are  cast members Daniel Thomas May (Allen), Tyler Chase (Ben), Kevin Galbraith (Swamp Walker that killed Dale), and Moses Moseley (One of Michonne’s Pet Zombies).

Also attending the event are other actors from popular television shows and movies like Thom Mathews of “Return of the Living Dead,” and “Friday the 13th Part 6,” Kelli Maroney of “Night of the Comet,” and “True Blood,” Joe Chin and Brian Harnois of “Ghost Hunters,” Monique Dupree of “Scream Queen,” Dan Hooven of “Haunted Encounters,” Ken Gerhard of “Monster Quest,”  Rosalyn Bown of “Ghost Hunters Academy,” Greg Lamberson of “Slime City,”  and many others.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and listen to celebrity guests and paranormal experts that will be appearing in the lecture room.

Donations from the event are to benefit Mikey’s Way Foundation and the Food Bank of WNY. This year’s event is being sponsored by Deftone Pictures Studio, World Hollywood Entertainment, Living Social, and GWNY Paranormal Society.
