GOT EGGS? There's still time for little ones to find a few!

NIAGARA FALLS — EVENTS: There are still several chances to catch up with Easter bunny this weekend.

Youngstown

Youngstown Lions Club will  hold an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday at Old Fort Niagara State Park near the Nature Center by the swimming pool. There were be three age groups for children ages one through 10. Children will be welcomed by the Easter Bunny and Louie the Lion. Candy will be provided for all.  For more information call the event chairman, Peter Kaminski at 745-7709.

Cayuga Island

LaSalle Business and Professional Association is holding their 5th annual Easter egg hunt at 3:30 on Saturday at Jayne park on cayuga Island. Participants are asked to bring their own basket or bag to collect the eggs. For any questions call Lisa at 236-0051.

The NACC

You might want to pay special attention to those sculptures adorning the front lawn of the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center on Saturday — there might just be a few Easter eggs hidden among them.

The NACC is hosting its fourth annual Easter egg hunt from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday on the front lawn of the facility at 1201 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls. The rain location will be the main theater hall of The NACC.

Activities include photos with the Easter Bunny, Easter egg hunt with prizes, face painting and a craft station for the children and a basket raffle for adults.

The event is free and open to children up to 12 years of age.

Schedule:

  • 11:30 a.m. — Registration
  • Noon — Photos with the Easter Bunny, craft stations and face painting
  • 1 p.m. — Easter Egg Hunt (Groups: up to  4 years, 5 to 8 years, 9 to 12 years)
  • 2 p.m. — Basket raffle

SEAster egg hunt at the Aquarium

Children and adults won’t want to miss the Aquarium of Niagara’s popular springtime event, SEAster egg hunt on Saturday.

The SEAster egg hunt is the only underwater egg hunt in the region. Rain or shine, it takes place inside the aquarium where children can search for special eggs in various exhibits. The SEAster Bunny and Beaker the Aquarium’s penguin mascot will be on hand to greet visitors. This “egg-stra” special event is included in regular admission of $10 for adults; $6 for children and free for 2 and under. Of course, members are free every day.
