A 'hoppy' Easter at the carrousel museum

Staff reports
Night & Day

Night & Day — Hop on down to the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum for some spring time fun. It’ll be an “egg-cellent” afternoon of crafts, games, history, and much more.

Learn about the history of the Easter Bunny and other spring-time symbols while making your own Peter Cottontail, spring flowers, and other kids crafts. Try your hand at a number of fun games, including egg races and Pin-the-Tail-on-the-Bunny.

At 1 p.m. enjoy listening to tales of gardens and springtime from around the world performed by The Wondermakers. After the stories, take part in a fun Easter tradition — an old-fashioned egg roll! Finally, make sure you say hello to the Easter Bunny and join him for a ride on the carrousel to round out a great afternoon.

There’s fun for all ages, so mark your calendar to join us on Saturday between noon and 4 p.m. Only $6 per person, No coupons or passes accepted.

The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum is housed in the historic Allan Herschell Company Factory building at 180 Thompson St., North Tonawanda.
