Buffalo Niagara Film Fest roaring to a close Sunday

Niagara Gazette — Two actors from Quentin Tarantino’s movie “Hell Ride” will be on hand to celebrate the Buffalo Niagara Film Festival on Sunday.

The festival, which opened on Wednesday, will close on Sunday with a biker event led by Michael Madsen and Larry Bishop who will arrive at the Adams Mark in Buffalo with an entourage of bikers for a special premiere of their movie “Hell Ride.”

Madsen, who appeared in “Reservoir Dogs,” and the two “Kill Bill” films, and Bishop, son of Joey Bishop who appeared in “Underworld,” “Kill Bill 2,” and “The Savages,” will participate in a question and answer session with fans, as well as sign autographs and pose for photos after the movie.

The event will begin at noon with a screening of the Johnny Cash documentary “My Father The Man In Black.”

At 1:30 p.m., Madsen and Bishop will arrive at the Adams Mark fountain with an entourage of bikers for a special premiere of  “Hell Ride,” which is produced by Tarantino and directed by Larry Bishop. The move will begin at 1:45 p.m. Those who own a bike and want to be part of the ride are asked to arrive at the fountain with their bike prior to 1:30 p.m. and festival staff will direct them.

At 3:15 p.m. immediately following the screening of “Hell Ride,” Bishop and Madsen will do a question and answer session with fans. At 4 p.m. the BNFF will be honoring the pair with BNFF Walk Of Fame Stars. Previous guests honored with the Walk Of Fame Stars are William Fichtner, Tom Sizemore and Evander Holyfield. Immediately following the Walk Of Fame ceremonies they will be available to the public for one-on-one autographs and photo opportunities.

The festival will close at 5:30 p.m when festival leaders will announce the winning filmmakers and closing film. A celebration party will follow, including Madsen and Bishop.
