SLIDESHOW: Falls police, firefighters renew icy rivalry

NIAGARA FALLS — The Niagara Falls Police Department skated to 6-5 win over the Niagara Falls Fire Department in a charity hockey game played at Hyde Park Ice Arena. Brenden Gee scored the game-winning goal with 9 seconds to go in the third period.

NFFD had a 3-2 lead after one period but the police tied it up in the second to skate off 3-3 after two. NFFD went up 5-3 late in the third, the tying goal was scored with 2:30 left in the game after a time-out was called.
