VIDEO: Kalfas Magnet School Construction Update

Watch as Niagara Falls School District Deputy Superintendent Mark Laurrie, LPCiminelli Project Manager Tony Miceli and LPCiminelli Construction Superintendent Shaun Beckwith discuss the progress at Henry J. Kalfas Elementary on Beech Avenue.

The school is receiving six new classrooms to replace temporary enclosures, along with a new kitchen for lunches, as part of the district's $67 million capital improvement project. In all, Laurrie said about $12 to $13 million of the total price tag is being invested in the building, which is the most for any one school in the district.
