Linda and Dennis Ertel have become familiar faces at the North Tonawanda Public Library, Starpoint school system and area nursing homes, all because of their dog Sandy. The City of Tonawanda couple learned early on that their dog Sandy was talented, so trained her to be a Therapy Dog. Your hometown newspaper Photographer James Neiss, spent last Sunday afternoon at the North Tonawanda Public Library, with camera and audio recorder on hand, as children read to Sandy the Dog.
