New SPCA of Niagara board members, officers named

The SPCA of Niagara held the first meeting of its 2013-14 Board of Directors this past week.

Newly elected members of the board are Debra L. Korpolinski, Local 22 Funds Administrator and Jennifer R. Pitarresi, director of Risk Management for Niagara County. The board filled three other seats with the re-election of Dr. Susan Persico, who also serves as a veterinarian to the SPCA, Polla Milligan, a grant writer for the Food Bank of WNY and Karen Karsten, former chairperson of the Seneca Gaming Corp.

The new board also elected officers: Michelle D. Madigan, president; AnnLouise Carosella, vice president; David A. Urban, treasurer; Debra L. Korpolinski, secretary and Pitarresi was elected as an executive committee member.
