Lockport girl taken to hospital after being bitten in face by dog

Niagara County Sheriff's deputies were called to Maple Lane in the town about 3 p.m. Monday after a dog bit a girl in the face.

Neither the type of dog nor the age of the girl was provided in a report. The girl's parents took her to a Lockport hospital for treatment. The severity of the injury was not stated in the report.

The dog's owner said it was the third time in 24 hours that the dog had bit someone. The first two bites did not cause injury and were not reported, the owner said.

A deputy called the SPCA of Niagara and an official there said someone would be out on July 25 to evaluate the dog.

The deputy advised the dog's owner to keep it away from others.

No, the indian reservations are sovereign land and they are selling them on their land.
Not up to me. Native Americans decide the rules on their land.
