Local women file federal suit related to E. Coli outbreak

Two Niagara County residents are suing a salad supplier after ingesting infected organic spinach in October and becoming ill with E. Coli.

Attorney's filed a suit in U.S. District Court of Western New York on Tuesday on behalf of clients Erica Duerr, of North Tonawanda, and her mother-in-law Beth Duerr, of Sanborn, both of whom became severely ill after purchasing a Wegmans brand"We strongly suspect there's big clusters of them in Erie and Niagara counties who are part of this outbreak and have not come forward yet," Nunes said.
