Injured Lockport man charged in Saturday morning stabbing incident

Lockport police have arrested one of the men injured in an early morning stabbing incident in Lockport.

Lamont Washington was charged with first-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon on Saturday — following his release from Erie County Medical Center, according to a Channel 4 News report.

Lockport police were called to the Main Street bar/restaurant at 2 a.m. Saturday and found three people stabbed and/or cut.

One of the victims was taken to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight.

Another who was bleeding heavily was taken to Eastern Niagara Hospital-Lockport by patrol car, then was transferred to ECMC.

The third victim, who fled the bar when police arrived, was located at a nearby residence and was taken to ENH, then transferred to ECMC, police said.

One of the victims remains in ECMC, according to Channel 4 News.
