Armed robbery at Lockport gas station

TOWN OF LOCKPORT —

Niagara County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery at a Town of Lockport gas station on Lake Avenue, in Wrights Corners.

Deputies were called to the business about 11 p.m. and were told a white man, between 6 feet to 6-feet-2, dressed completely in black with a ski mask on entered the store, displayed a hand gun and demanded money.

The clerk handed over an undetermined amount of cash and the man left, running behind the store.

Deputies did not have any information on a vehicle. The Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Bureau and CSI responded to the scene. The investigation is continuing.
