Six hurt in two Thursday night crashes on Niagara Falls Boulevard

Niagara Gazette — Falls police responded to two serious accidents on Niagara Falls Boulevard Thursday night.

Shortly after 7 p.m., an adult and two children were sent to area hospitals after they were apparently hit by a car at Niagara Falls Boulevard and Packard Road.

The adult was taken to Erie County Medical Center and the two children were taken to Women and Children’s Hospital. Further information on that accident wasn’t provided by Falls police Thursday night.

Three people were hospitalized after a two-car accident at Niagara Falls Boulevard and Tuscarora Road about 5:15 p.m. Thursday.

Falls police say a ‘01 Chevy Impala was west on the Boulevard when it was struck on the passenger side by a ‘02 Chevy Cavalier traveling east on the Boulevard.

The 33-year-old woman driving the Cavalier was taken to Erie County Medical Center for a leg injury.

The 73-year-old driver of the Impala was taken by ambulance to Memorial Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

An 89-year-old passenger in the Impala was removed from the car with the Jaws of Life by members of the Niagara Fall Fire Department. She was also taken to ECMC where she was listed in critical condition.

The accident is still being investigated.
