Porter house fire investigated

PORTER — Niagara County fire officials are investigating a Wednesday afternoon house fire on Lutts Road in Porter. 

When emergency personnel arrived on the scene about 1 p.m. the fire, which reportedly started in a chimney, had spread to the roof of the house.

All occupants were out of the home with no injuries.

An investigation is being conducted by Niagara County Origin and Cause.

Youngtown Fire, Lewiston No 1 and Ransomville fire companies responded to battle the blaze.
