Falls Police, aided by a dozen other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, swept the city this morning in what was dubbed Operation Spring Clean Up.

Half a dozen SWAT Teams hit homes in the North and South Ends of the city and a motel on Niagara Falls Boulevard that has been described as "an open air drug market." Police said they made six arrests on a number of felony and misdemeanor charges.
Investigators said they seized quantities of crack and powdered cocaine. prescription pills and marijuana. They also recovered a shotgun at one of the raid locations.
