An Amherst teen was arrested after a woman was flown to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight after a firework misfired in a Farmersville backyard on Friday.

State Police say a multi-shot firework called "the Damned" misfired sideways, striking the woman in the eye.

Donald R. March, 17, of Amherst, was charged with unlawfully dealing with fireworks.

There was no word on the woman's condition.
