Deputies called to Newfane health club after man falls off treadmill

Niagara County Sheriff's deputies were called to a health club on Lockport-Olcott road about 10:15 a.m. Wednesday after a 65-year-old man fell off a treadmill and suffered injuries.

When deputies arrived they said the Olcott resident was prone on the floor with an obvious shoulder/arm injury. They added the man was alert and conscious the whole time.

The facility's manager was called in and the man was eventually treated by a crew from Wrights Corners Fire Co.
