36-year-old woman identified as victim in Hartland crash

A Gasport woman has been identified as the victim in Tuesday night's one-car crash on Ridge Road in Hartland.

The victim has been identified as Filica A. Rutherford, 36, was killed about 8 p.m. Tuesday after leaving the road while traveling west and crashing into a tree in front of 8549 Ridge Road.

Rutherford was transported to Eastern Niagara Hospital-Lockport where she was pronounced dead.

An investigation into the crash by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit is continuing.
