Buffalo Avenue business raided by DEA agents, State and Falls police

Niagara Gazette — A task force of federal, state and local law enforcement agents raided a LaSalle head shop Thursday morning.

Agents from the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, the New York State Police CNET and Falls Police Narcotics Division detectives converged on the Alchemy shop in the 6900 block of Buffalo Avenue just before noon. The raid was described by law enforcement sources as part of a "statewide blitz" of head shops suspected of selling synthetic marijuana and bath salts.

Falls Police declined to comment, other than to confirm the raid took place. Calls to the State Police and DEA were not immediately returned.

The store remained open Thursday afternoon.

Do you think cigarette sales to non-Native American customers should be taxed on reservations?

Yes. Items should be taxed like they are everywhere else.
No, the indian reservations are sovereign land and they are selling them on their land.
Not up to me. Native Americans decide the rules on their land.
Don't care. Smoking isn't good for you.
