Niagara County Sheriff's investigators are investigating another burglary at an e-cigarette business on the 2300 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard.

Responding to an alarm at the business about 3:45 a.m. Thursday, a sheriff's sergeant found an open window at the rear of the business and searched the inside of the business but didn't find anyone. A piece of plywood that led to a bathroom was removed to gain entry.

Once inside, the suspects took about $550 in merchandise from display cases, including several electronic cigarettes that vaporize a liquid solution to simulate smoking.

Items may also have been taken from the a store room but the owner said an inventory would need to be taken.

Sheriff's investigators are waiting for video surveillance footage from the business.

The owner of the business reported a week and a half ago that someone had tried to break into the business through a rear door but was unsuccessful.

In late June the business was burglarized after someone threw a large cinder block through a side window. Several items were taken from a display case and a laptop computer and $170 from a cash register was taken.
