Four arrested at River Road DWI checkpoint in Wheatfield

The New York State Police conducted a DWI checkpoint on River Road on Saturday. 

In all, two people were arrested for DWI and two people were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. 

Arrested were:

• Joseph C. Trapasso, 45 of Niagara Falls, was charged with felony DWI. He refused a breath test.

• Dawn M. Wilson,44 of Tonawanda, was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI following a breath test reading of 0.20 percent.

• Donald E. Grosskopf, 35, of North Tonawanda, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

• Brandin P. Deyo, 20, of North Tonawanda, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
