Niagara Falls
n HOME INVASION: Police received a call at 10:46 p.m. Friday of a disturbance at a Jordan Gardens home. Upon arriving on scene, two residents fled and told police, “They robbed us.” Upon entering the home, a man was found laying on the floor with a laceration on his back. He said wasn’t sure if the suspects had left, according to the police report. The victim told police two or three men with ski masks allegedly barged in demanding drugs. The victim was taken to Memorial Medical Center and treated for his injuries.
n ASSAULT: Kristian L. Green, 37, 13th Street, was charged at 5:29 a.m. Saturday for allegedly assaulting a security guard at the Seneca Niagara Casino. According to the report, Green was being escorted out by the guard for being too loud when he bumped his chest to the guard and shoved him. The guard’s ankle was allegedly injured in the incident.
n INSULTING POLICE: Todd M. Ball, 27, 6 Spina Drive, was charged with disorderly conduct at 1:04 a.m. Saturday and he called police officers attempting to help him “dumb” and made obscene gestures at them. A police officer located Ball in his truck on Third Street slumped over and unresponsive despite shining a flashlight at him and repeated window knocking. The officer called ambulance services and Ball’s vehicle door was opened and he still allegedly did not respond at first. Ball came to and police asked if he would like to go to the hospital, to which Ball allegedly called the officer a “dumb (expletive).” The officer repeated the question and Ball allegedly responded by pointing his middle finger up. He was transported to Memorial Medical Center and arrested.
n FIRE: Around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, a 55th Street garage was damaged in a suspicious fire, according to police reports. The garage housed two vehicles, both of which were damaged in the blaze. A neighbor, who discovered the fire called authorities, reported seeing three juveniles fleeing the scene. The cost of damages is unknown and police still are investigating.
n VANDALISM: At 12:28 a.m. Saturday, a witness told police a pair of juveniles 8 to 10 years old pulled out cans of yellow spray paint and started to vandalize a building. When the witness yelled at them and they rode away on BMX bicycles, according to the police report.
n PEEPING TOM: At 2:34 a.m. Saturday, a police officer was conducting a premise check of the city parking ramp when he allegedly spotted someone crawling behind the cars, apparently trying to hide from the officer. The man was unable to produce identification. Another officer arrived and noticed a truck with two people engaging in sexual intercourse inside, according to the police report. The man had apparently been watching the couple and was told to leave the scene.
Lewiston
n DWI: Lindsay H. Williams, 23, 2435 Lords Hill Rod, Lafayette, was charged early Friday with driving while intoxicated and speeding after a 3:35 a.m. traffic stop on North Fourth Street. She allegedly failed several field sobriety tests and registered a 0.21 percent blood alcohol content. She was held in lieu of $250 bail and is due Tuesday in Lewiston Town Court.
