Barn destroyed in early-morning fire

The Niagara County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a fire that destroyed a Ridge Road barn early Thursday.

Sheriff’s dispatch received several 911 calls about 2:36 a.m. reporting a barn on fire across from 9285 Ridge Road. The barn was reported as a total loss.

Deputies could not determine who owned the barn, the report said, and an estimate of damage was not available.
