Circus comes to the village
The Kelly Miller Circus is set for two shows today at Veterans Park in the village.
The performances, sponsored by the Youngstown Volunteer Fire Co., will be at 2 and 5:30 p.m., across from the fire hall and along Nancy Price Drive (Third Street).

STATE PARKS
Mosey appointed to commission
Gerard J. Mosey of Lewiston was one of two people appointed to the Niagara Frontier State Park Recreation and Historic Preservation Commission by Gov. David Paterson on Friday. Cindy Abbott Letro of Buffalo was the other appointee.
Mosey received his doctorate in education from the University at Buffalo and currently teaches at Niagara University, Medaille and D’Youville Colleges. He had previously served as chair of the Education Department at Medaille College and while there received the Brian Shero Award for Outstanding Teaching and Campus Leadership. He also served as principal of St. Mary’s of the Lake and Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He currently serves as president of the board of the Lewiston Council on the Arts, secretary of the board of the Lewiston Kiwanis, a member of the Niagara-Wheatfield Kiwanis, Order of the Moose, Village of Lewiston Parks and Recreation Committee. In addition, Mosey is a composer and musician.
Mosey will serve until 2016.
The Niagara Frontier Commission is charged with acting as a central advisory body on all matters affecting parks, recreation and historic preservation within the Niagara region.
