MAIN STREET: Office site still in the works

— A company that is interested in developing an environmentally friendly office building on Main Street will receive some extra time to finish putting its financing in place.
Members of the Niagara County Industrial Development Agency’s Board of Directors have granted an extension to an incentive package for Ay-Shay Enterprises, LLC, a company that has proposed building a 19,000-square-foot office building across the street from the new Main Street Public Safety Complex.
The proposed two-story building, which would be located at 950 Cleveland Ave., calls for an investment of more than $2 million. The building would feature energy-saving, renewable technology and would include eight commercial spaces suitable for professional offices as well as a coffee shop and retail area. The project has already been approved by the city and Niagara County planning boards.
