• ROBBERY: Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Sunday at a home in the 700 block of 8th Street. Reports said a male victim told police that at around 2:30 a.m. three men kicked in his door, forced him to the ground and threatened to shoot him. The victim told police the three suspects fled the scene with his wallet containing $400 and several credit cards.

• PETIT LARCENY: A Seneca Niagara Casino patron told police someone broke into his vehicle while it was parked inside the casino parking lot on Sunday. The victim told police someone broke the passenger side window on his BMW and stole a GPS unit valued at $300 and several items of clothing valued at $600. Officers also observed damage to the vehicle’s door frame. Total damages were listed at $600.

• ARREST: Lachanel T. George, 28, of 155 Urban St., Buffalo, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct early Saturday after officers were called to break up a fight in the 600 block of 19th Street. Reports said George was among a crowd officers were attempting to disperse around 3 a.m. Saturday. Reports said George continued to yell, scream and fight and refused to leave the area as requested by officers on the scene.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A male victim told police that he believes someone in a silver, Chevy Malibu shot at him with a BB gun while he was walking in the 400 block of 26th Street Saturday afternoon. The victim received treatment at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for wounds to his left arm and right calf.

• ARREST: Ricky Q. Caldwell, 44, no permanent address, was arrested and charged with petit larceny on Saturday. An assistant manager from a retail store in the 2100 block of Hyde Park Boulevard told police a man fitting Caldwell’s description ran out of the store Saturday afternoon carrying a black garbage bag that appeared to be filled with several items. The clerk told police Caldwell set off the store security alarm before exiting the store and fleeing west on Ontario Avenue. Reports said a patrol officer later apprehended Caldwell while he was walking near the intersection of 18th Street and Cleveland Avenue. Reports said Caldwell was found in possession of a large, black garbage bag containing several stolen items valued at $91.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Police responded Saturday morning to a burglar alarm at a bus company on 13th Street. Reports said police arrived on the scene at 10:22 a.m. to find a side window in the main office broken and a petty cash drawer open on a desk. An employee reported about $105 in petty cash missing from the drawer. Estimated damage to the window was $500.

• BURGLARY: A man living in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue told police that sometime between noon and 5 p.m. Saturday someone broke into his garage and stole a telescope valued at $300.

• ARREST: A Ransomville man was issued an appearance ticket for leaving a child unattended in a vehicle on Saturday. Nicholas S. Bauer, 19, of 1880 Langdon Road, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Reports said an officer who was issuing parking tickets at a shopping plaza in the 7200 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard observed Bauer’s vehicle parked in a fire lane with a young child siting inside unattended. Reports said Bauer ran out of the store and apologized to the officer, saying he left the child in the vehicle while he went into the store to buy some batteries.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Police are investigating a series of motor vehicle break-ins that occurred Saturday evening in the 400 block of Buffalo Avenue. Several reports indicated damage to locks and windows on parked vehicles in the area, including one victim who reported stolen from his vehicle three laptops, two iPods, two cell phones, a GPS and a cashbox containing $2,000.

• ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Police are looking for a man in connection with the attempted burglary of a guitar from a block party Saturday evening in the 200 block of 72nd Street. Reports said one of the hosts of the block party observed the suspect carrying a guitar out of a garage of one of the homes in the neighborhood. Reports said the suspect fled the scene and later dropped the guitar on the street after a pair of partygoers gave chase. Reports said the guitar was slightly damaged during the incident.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A Ransomville woman reported that sometime after 10 p.m. Friday someone spray-painted obscenities on her 2001 Pontiac causing $2,000 damage. All the rims were also painted with orange paint. The victim she believes it was a hate crime because she is a lesbian, the report said.
