• INCIDENT: A 7-year-old boy was taken to Children’s Hospital for treatment of burns after an accident in his home in the 1100 block of Niagara Avenue. A teenaged sibling told police that his brother accidentally pulled a pot of boiling water off a stove at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, scalding his chest.
n ASSAULT: Police are investigating an assault in a business in the 9500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. A 30-year-old man told officers he was attacked in the bar of the Rapids Bowling Alley at 10 p.m. Friday. The victim said three men punched him, knocked him to the ground and kicked, before a bar manager threw him out.
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on assault-related charges. Kenneth Lee Graham, 47, 9815 Niagara Falls Blvd., Apt. 39, was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. A 32-year-old man told police that Graham punched him in the face and cut him under the eye with a sharp instrument during an incident in at the front of a bar in the 200 block of Ferry Avenue at 2 a.m. Sunday. Officers recovered a pocketknife when they stopped Graham minutes after the assault.
• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary from an apartment at Centre Court. A 27-year-old man told police that sometime between 1:30 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 p.m. Sunday someone broke into his apartment by forcing open a door. The victim said a flatscreen TV, a computer hard drive, a PlayStation3 game system, an X-box game system and some video games were taken.

• HARASSMENT: A Lockport woman reported she was assaulted by another woman while at South Transit Lanes on Saturday. The victim reported she was verbally harassed while they were at opposite sides of the bar. The victim said the suspect came over and pulled her by the hair, causing her to fall to the floor. The victim said she was punched and several men separated them. A witness verified the victim’s account.
Town of Lockport
• SUSPICIOUS PERSON: The manager of Allie Brants bowling lanes was advised by a juvenile of an older man in the men’s restroom acting inappropriately. A suspect was found near the restroom and the Sheriff’s Department was notified. The juvenile reported the suspect asked him if the two girls were his mother, referring to two other juveniles. A short time later, the juvenile went to the restroom and the man said something. The man, who was located in the parking lot, denied talking to juvenile. He was transported to his residence by police.
