Lewiston Village Pub owners announce pending sale

Niagara Gazette — The decision to sell comes only weeks after the owners decided to scale back their hours of operation in Lewiston. Beginning Jan. 19, The Pub ceased all late-night serving, deciding to shut its doors at 11 p.m. seven nights a week.

This sale also isn't them leaving the local restaurant game, either. Aside from The Pub, they're also owners of the Griffon Pub on Military Road in the Town of Niagara. Despite a recent opening, the gastropub was spotlighted along with Niagara Falls as a region in a New York Times listing of the "52 places to go in 2014."

The pair said the sale will open new doors, with a future announcement on its way concerning a "surprise location" of their next project.
