Holding out hope

I reside at Center Court. I’m writing this letter to let all whom it may concern that I’m looking forward to the HOPE IV project continuing forward. We have been waiting for this for so many years and now that it’s in our reach to have better housing, we have to wait and go through a lot of red tape to get it.

They know what the problem is. Why is it so hard to take care of it and move on?

I’ve read in the paper where the city spent thousands of dollars for a concert to come to downtown and everyone was on board for the event. Now wouldn’t a new neighborhood on the North End also be a compliment for the city?

Kelly’s on target

I would like to thank former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly For his insight on the future of the Buffalo Bills organization and wanting a stadium in Niagara Falls.

Finally, someone with a vision for the future and prosperity to both the Bills organization and Western New York. This is a great idea to bring a new football stadium to Niagara Falls for many reasons. First, our area would be able to accommodate our Canadian fans from the Toronto and southern Ontario region, with four international bridges to cross. The drive from Toronto to the Falls is under 1 1/2 hours — a lot closer than Orchard Park. Second, there are new hotels being built in and around the city. With fans from different cities attending the games and the American and Canadian falls as worldwide attractions, we would be able to house our guests and offer weekend packages for them to come to our area earlier and enjoy a weekend of sightseeing and football and of course shopping.

Niagara Falls is a great location for this to take place. Just as Kelly had an eye for his receivers, he also has an eye for the future of the Bills and Western New York.
