Arby’s Roast Beef Restaurant, 600 Portage Road

• CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: None.

• NON-CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: Ice scoop found stored on the counter were volun tarily cleaned and santized then placed in container to protect from cross-contaminating serving of ice. Single-use toweling missing in men’s room. Hand drier machine not operating. Operator reported parts on order for hand drier, awaiting repair.

NORTH TONAWANDA

Big Daddy’s, 715 Oliver St.

• CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: None.

• NON-CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: Cardboard found lining shelving in walk-in freezer, employee removed cardboard.

Brando’s Pizza, 354 Oliver St.

• CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: None.

• NON-CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: Bags of ice on floor in walk-in freezer; wiping cloths dirty, not stored in sanitizing solution, therefore counters not sanitized after use; bottle marked solution needs to be marked sanitizer; no toilet paper in restroom.

• CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: None.

• NON-CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: Ice scoop on bare wood shelf at basement ice maker; any vertical and flip-top coolers without thermometers to confirm temperature; freezers at base of basement stairs have excess debris; excess debris on floor near cooler at back of kitchen.

• CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: None.

• NON-CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: Cardboard found under pizza press in basement saturated with oil, employee removed cardboard.

• CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: Hose was hanging in water in sink, corrected.

• NON-CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: None.

Shores Waterfront Restaurant, 2 Detroit St.

• CRITICAL VIOLATIONS:  Raw chicken stored over burger patties and salmon, operater rearranged items so chicken was on bottom. 

• NON-CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: Hamburger patty temperature was 59 degrees, patty was in top of line cold-hold unit,  operator said patties were placed there at approximately 11 a.m., patty was voluntarily discarded; frost buildup in various freezers throughout kitchen and store room; debris buildup in walk-in cooler; debris buildup on shelving in walk-in cooler; debris buildup on inside and outside of ice machine.

• CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: None.

• NON-CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: Wiping cloths not stored in sanitizer solution.

Subway Sandwiches & Salads, 966 Payne Ave.

• CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: Top layer of lunch meat at service counter was 52 to 53 degrees, manager not sure how long products were out of temperature, voluntarily discarded; cooler on wall behind service counter has ambient temperature of 52 degrees, cooling unit is frozen, cooler is being defrosted; ham, eggs, salami, chicken patties and sausage patties in cooler on wall behind service counter were 50 to 53 degrees, manager not sure how long they were out of temperature, voluntarily discarded.

• NON-CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: Flies present, repeat.

Suzanne’s Fine Dining, 2843 Niagara Falls Blvd.

• CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: Packaged raw salmon stored above fries and other food items in Continental freezer in room off kitchen, proper storage explained, shelving adjusted. 

• NON-CRITICAL VIOLATIONS:  Chlorine sanitizer in bucket prepared incorrectly, corrected.

Tan Tara Golf Club Halfway House, 4391 Tonawanda Creek

• CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: No sanitizer solution available during operation, no test strips available, corrected.

• NON-CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: Cold water faucet in men’s room does not turn on; premises littered by back door, plastic bottles on ground; food-testing thermometer is inaccurate, calibrated during inspection.

Vito’s Avenue Pizzeria, 236 Zimmerman St.

• CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: None.

• NON-CRITICAL VIOLATIONS: Interior of ice machine has some mildew growth; gaskets for small, white freezer and prep cooler on line are in disrepair; mop sink in employee restroom leaking water onto floor; back kitchen door doesn’t seal at bottom.
