BLOTTER: Police reports published Dec. 18

Niagara Falls

 ROBBERY: Police are looking for three suspects in a home invasion-style robbery in the 700 block of Division Avenue at 9:45 p.m. Sunday. A 27-year-old man told officers he answered a knock at his door and was confronted by three men with bandannas covering their faces who forced their way into his home. The victim said he was hit in the face with a pistol and the suspects took his cell phone, earrings and some cash. The man said an Xbox game system was also taken. 

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 2200 block of Michigan Avenue. A 50-year-old man told officers that sometime between 3 and 8 p.m. Sunday someone broke into his home by smashing a rear sliding glass door. The victim said a desktop computer system was taken.

• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 600 block of 16th Street. A 21-year-old man told police that sometime between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. Sunday someone broke into his home by smashing a bedroom window. The victim said a 20 gauge Mossberg shotgun was taken.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a domestic incident in the 2300 block of Orleans Avenue at 1:35 a.m. Monday. Anthony Donato Thompson, 49, 2309 Orleans Ave., Apt. 2, was charged with unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
