BLOTTER: Police reports published Nov. 19

Niagara Falls

• THEFT: Officers are looking into a theft from a communal home in the 1100 block of Main Street. A 60-year-old man told police that sometime between 4 p.m. Wednesday and 3 p.m. Sunday someone entered his unlocked bedroom and took at 17-inch TV.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 1300 block of Michigan Avenue. A 19-year-old man told officers that sometime between 5 and 6 p.m. Sunday someone broke into his home by kicking in the side door. The victim said his bedroom was ransacked and a 55-inch TV, some jewelry and some cash was taken.

Olcott

• DWI: Michael W. Rose, 48, 2527 W. Creek Road, Newfane, was charged with driving while intoxicated, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on the highway, unlawful possession of marijuana and several violations of vehicle and traffic law about 7 p.m. Sunday on West Main Street. A sheriff's deputy stopped Rose's vehicle for failure to signal a turn at Jackson Street and Lake Road. Rose exhibited signs of intoxication during the interview and was charged; a search of his vehicle turned up a quantity of suspected marijuana in the center console and an open container of beer under the passenger seat. Later breath testing showed Rose's blood alcohol content to be 0.16 percent.

North Tonawanda

• IMPERSONATION: Paul E. Baran, 32, Crestwood Drive, Lockport, was charged at 5:40 p.m. Sunday on Robinson Road with resisting arrest and impersonation. He was held for court.
