• BURGLARY: A resident in the 8300 block of Buffalo Avenue told police someone entered his apartment sometime between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. Tuesday by removing a large peice of cardboard covering a broken window. Once inside, the suspects took a $1,500 television bought from a rent-to-own business.

 
• BURGLARY: A resident on the 1600 block of South Avenue told police that sometime between noon and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday someone kicked in a side door to their home and took several items. Among the items missing were a Playstation 3, a laptop computer and several items of jewelry. The total estimated loss is $2,310. The victim said the burglary may have stemmed from a dispute over a $600 debt.
