The Niagara County Drug Task Force seized 120 marijuana plants and arrested two men following the raid of a Divide Road home in the Town of Niagara on Wednesday. In addition, several ounces of processed/packaged marijuana was seized.
Task force members also found a 3-year-old child in the home. They said the child had full access to the marijuana being grown and packaged there.
Wednesday's actions were the result of a month-long investigation into the home.
Brandon M. Keel, 23, and Brandon S. Smith, 21, were charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, illegally growing marijuana and unlawfully dealing with a child. Both men were remanded to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $20,000/$40,000 bail.
Niagara County Child Protective Services were contacted and responded to the scene. They released the child to her mother.
