Three men win battle, lose stuff they left in their car

Niagara County Sheriff's deputies were called to The War Zone at 6525 Walmore Road on Sunday for a report of a theft from a vehicle.

A West Seneca man told the deputy that he and two friends set out to play a game of Airsoft — with realistic shooting replica firearms — and left behind a man they only knew by first name and another man, who told them they were waiting for a friend.

When the three men returned to their cars, the two men were gone as was an iPhone, $500, a G36 C Airsoft gun and $170 and an Airsoft rifle and $350 from each man respectively.

The victims said the suspects had been operating a red Subaru Legacy.
