• BURGLARY: A resident on the 2200 block of Linwood Avenue told police sometime between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday someone entered their unlocked garage and took a $500 telescope, several bicycles and a lawn mower.

• BURGLARY: A resident on the 700 block of Eighth Street told police that sometime between 8 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, while they were at work, someone damaged a door to their apartment and took a 47-inch flatscreen TV, a X-Box 360 gaming system and a Playstation 3 gaming system. The estimated loss is $2,019.

• THEFT: A 68th Street resident told Falls police Wednesday that sometime Monday night someone entered their car and took a tote bag containing an iPod Touch, $21 and a bottle containing seven Adderall pills prescribed to their daughter. The resident said a rear door of the car may have been unlocked.

• VANDALISM: A Falls police officer on patrol in the 2800 block of Pine Avenue about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday said he spotted an 18-year-old Falls youth riding his bike in circles in freshly poured concrete at an auto parts store. As the officer turned around to investigate, the teen fled from the taped-off parking lot and started heading down 28th Street. He was stopped by the officer on Grand Street and returned to the business where an employee said he wanted to press charges. The youth was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. Damage to the lot was estimated at $500.
