BLOTTER: Police reports published Sept. 9

• DWI: Michael D. Zwetsch, 22, 254 72nd St., Niagara Falls, was charged with DWI and speeding about 2:30 a.m. Friday, according to Niagara County Sheriff's deputies. The '02 Mazda Zwetsch was driving was clocked driving 61 mph in a 45 mph zone on River Road. After being pulled over, deputies said he appeared intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. At one point he told the deputy, "It's my birthday and I drank more than I wanted to." A chemical test determined his blood alcohol content to be 0.12 percent.
