State Police release image of Valero robbery suspect

New York State Police investigators have released a surveillance image of the suspect involved in a July 30 armed robbery at the Valero gas station on Route 31 in Sanborn.

The man entered the store at 11:50 p.m., displayed a handgun and demanded money. He was picked up outside the store afterward by a light-colored 1995-1998 Acura TL with a rear spoiler.

A witness at the scene stated the vehicle was light gray and had an out-of-state plate, possibly blue and white.

The suspect is described as a white male slender built in his 20's or 30’s, dark shaggy hair, wearing a dark blue hoodie, dark-colored jeans and dark foot wear.

Anyone that recognizes the suspect and/or the vehicle, or has any information is asked to contact Investigator Ryan Shanahan at 297-8730.
