BLOTTER: Police reports published March 19

Town of Lockport

• CHARGED: Willie E. Lightfoot Jr., 35, 3292 9th St., Niagara Falls, was charged with introducing contraband into prison and possession of marijuana about 5:30 p.m. Monday, according to the sheriff's office. Brought to the Niagara County Jail from Niagara Falls, deputies found a bag containing a green leafy substance in Lightfoot's rectum during a search. The substance tested positive for marijuana and Lightfoot was charged.

Town of Cambria

• HOUSE FIRE: An 18-year-old resident of a North Ridge Road home reported smoke coming from the laundry room just after 3 p.m. Monday, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office said. Fire companies from Cambria, South Wilson and Shawnee responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. Damage was limited to the laundry room.

City of Tonawanda

• WARRANT: Donald L. Lewis, 45, of LaSalle Avenue, Niagara Falls, was arrested Tuesday on a bench warrant for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. He was held for court.
