BLOTTER: Police reports published May 21

Niagara Falls

* ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after brawling with three employees of a  Pine Avenue business. William Louis Payne, 17, 462 13th St., Apt. 1, was charged with two counts of third-degree assault, two counts of second-degree harassment, and single counts of second-degree menacing, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. Payne is accused of running into a business at 3 p.m. Sunday and taking a wrench. Payne then began fighting with an employee of the business, hitting him with a chair. The victim said he and two other employees then chased Payne and two other suspects across the street and the fighting continued in a park there. The three suspects then fled, but police were able to capture Payne a short time later. None of the victims were seriously hurt.

* THEFT: Officers are looking into a theft from the 3200 block of Michigan Avenue. A 50-year-old man told police that sometime between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 4 p.m. Sunday, someone entered his unlocked shed and took two vehicle engines.

* THEFTS: Police are investigating multiple thefts of aluminum gutters between the 400 and 500 blocks of Fourth Street to 16th Street between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
