BLOTTER: Police reports published May 2

Niagara Falls

 
• VANDALISM: A Walnut Avenue resident reported to police Tuesday morning that sometime overnight someone threw a cinder block into the windshield of their ‘99 Mercury Marquis. The cinder block was still lying on the hood of the car when police arrived. The estimated damage is $250.

 
• VANDALISM: An Ontario Avenue resident told police someone scratched up their ‘02 Ford Explorer and broke out a window about 11:50 p.m. Tuesday. The victim said they saw two men running through their backyard and supplied police with possible suspects. The estimated damage is $1,600.

• LARCENY: Medication was taken from a Lake Road woman Tuesday, deputies reported. About 30 pills were taken, the report said.

• MISCHIEF: Three windows were damaged Wednesday at Pellicano Twin Oakes on Ridge Road, totaling $1,800 in damage, deputies reported. Two witnesses said they saw a small vehicle moving slowly in front of the business, turn around and head back toward Pellicano. One of the witnesses said they heard someone yell “hurry up lets go” and then the sound of glass breaking and people running east on Ridge Road.
