BLOTTER: Police reports published Jan. 29

Niagara Falls

• THEFT: Police are investigating a truck and van break-in in the 400 block of 71st Street. A man told officers that sometime between 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday someone broke into his 2004 Ford F-150 and his work van by smashing a window on the truck and breaking the lock on the rear door of the van. The victim said a dashboard TV system was taken from the pickup truck and a vacuum cleaner and bag of tools was taken from the work van.
