BLOTTER: Police reports published Oct. 30

Niagara Falls

 
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 6800 block of Buffalo Avenue. Richard Andrew Davidson, 43, 7414 Buffalo Ave., was charged with petit larceny and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Davidson is accused of taking a copy of Skunk magazine and a USA coffee mug without paying for the items. He also had a rock of crack cocaine in his possession at the time of his arrest.

 
• ROBBERY: Police are investigating a robbery in the 1500 block of Pine Avenue. A store employee told officers a man entered the business at 12:28 a.m. Tuesday and approached the cash register. The suspect pulled out a foot-long piece of copper pipe and demanded money. The store clerk told the suspect to "leave" the business and picked the phone to call police. The suspect then ran out the door and was last seen going east on Pine Avenue.

 
• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 1900 block of Niagara Street. A 42-year-old man told police that sometime between 3 and 11 p.m. Monday, someone broke into his home through an unlocked window. The victim said a flat-screen TV, a PlayStation 2 game system, a PlayStation 3 game system, an Xbox game system and 60 Xbox video games were taken.

 
• ROBBERY: Police are investigating a robbery in the 1900 block of Forest Avenue. A 16-year-old boy told officers that he and a friend where walking in the area at 8:10 p.m. Monday when a group of eight to 10 male suspects ran across Liberty Park and right at them. The men forced the victim to the ground and kicked him when he refused to give them his wallet. A suspect then pulled out a knife and held it to the victim's abdomen. At that point, the victim gave the suspects his wallet. The suspects were last seen running south down 24th Street.
