The victim said he briefly blacked out. While on the ground, the victim said the suspect took his Verizon Envy 3 cellphone and $20.

• THEFT: A resident on the 2000 block of Ferry Avenue told police that sometime Monday night someone entered their unlocked car and took their wallet, a set of house keys and an $800 stereo system. The resident said they usually leave the car doors unlocked and haven't had a problem in the past.

• THEFT: A Sims Road man reported to Niagara County Sheriff's deputies Monday that someone took a black tonneau cover from his truck on Oct. 15 while it was parked at a bowling alley on South Transit Road.
