• CHARGED: Treyvaun T. Filbert, 18, 323 Church St., was charged with possession of a forged instrument, speeding and operating an unregistered motor vehicle on Saturday. At 2:35 a.m., deputies said they paced Filbert going 52 mph in a 40 mph zone on Chestnut Ridge Road. He was stopped on Cold Springs Road. According to the report, the registration certificate taped to the windshield had been altered. The registration expired on July 23, 2013, but the certificate had been altered with a black marker to make it appear as an “18.”
