BLOTTER: Police reports published Sept. 29

Niagara Falls

• ARRESTS: A trio of teenagers were arrested following an investigation between 5:25 and 6 p.m. Friday in a parking lot in the 200 block of Hyde Park Boulevard. Ricardo Baskerville, 17, 560 5th St., along with Cyzon Griffin, 18, 1859 Cleveland Ave., and Ryan Pillosof, 17, 2767 Welch Ave., were all charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana following police making a check of a parking lot following complaints of youths causing problems on the property. Officers located the three in a car allegedly smoking marijuana from a bong. When approached, they reportedly dropped the bong on the floor of the vehicle, but admitted to smoking the drug when asked. Upon searching the vehicle, officers report finding three wrist watches in a black bag inside the vehicle. The suspicious packaging led police to question the teenagers, according to reports, with Baskerville informing police he’d received them from an uncle whose name he couldn’t provide. The three were given appearance tickets and the watches were taken as evidence, police said.

• THEFT: Police are investigating a reported theft between noon Thursday, Sept. 12, and noon Friday from a vacant property in the 2000 block of Buffalo Avenue. The victim, a 53-year-old man, told police he visited his property after two weeks and noticed three wheels missing from a 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier he was preparing to take to the scrap yard. He said he was also missing a two-wheel dolly used to move vehicles. He said the thief may have gained access through the south side of the property, the only portion not secured by fencing. The property was reported at $1,100 total value.
