BLOTTER: Police reports published April 7



Niagara Falls

• DRUG RAID: Victoria A. Bellegia, 28, of the Falls was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana on Friday. She was charged after a three-month investigation by the Niagara County Drug Task Force and Falls Narcotics Division, according to Niagara County Sheriff James Voutour. Seized in the raid was a quantity of heroin, marihuana and drug-related paraphernalia. The investigation started with complaints from concerned neighbors in the area, Voutour said. Additional charges may be pending.

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a reported burglary and vandalism incident that occurred between 11 p.m. Friday and 4:29 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Ontario Avenue. The victim, a 31-year-old woman, told police she left her apartment to go out with her "cousin" still inside. She said he had permission to be there and has a key in his possession. When she returned home, she said, her vehicle's windshield was smashed and tires cut. A 42-inch television was also missing from inside her apartment. She provided police with the name of a suspect but no arrest was reported. She told officers about $560 was lost to damages and theft.
