19-year-old Falls girl killed in Lewiston crash

LEWISTON —

A 19-year-old Niagara Falls woman was killed in Sunday morning's one-car rollover accident on Walmore Road.

Two 18-year-olds were also flown to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight after the crash, where one of the teens remains in critical condition.

New York State Police say none of the teens was wearing a seat belt prior to the accident.

New York State Police say Jasmin P. Dubuc, 19 of Cayuga Drive, was ejected from the 2009 Mazda after it failed to negotiate a curve while traveling north on Walmore, near Mount Hope Road about 6 a.m. Sunday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, Taylor J. Clause, 18, of Walmore Road, Lewiston, also sustained extensive trauma and was taken to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight. She was listed in critical condition Sunday afternoon.

Another passenger, Jasmine A. Rickard, 18, of Upper Mountain Road, Sanborn, was also flown to ECMC by Mercy Flight. She was later released.

The New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is assisting in the ongoing investigation.
